Talk to your class teacher about your child and what s/he is expected to learn. Find something that works not only for your child, but for you as a parent too. We understand many parents are juggling many challenges working from home. Remember your child's teacher may be in the same predicament. Focus on finding solutions together.

Ask the teacher the different strategies to communicate like through WhatsApp or Telegram to ensure that your child is given lessons (modules for example) or other approaches appropriate for your child.

You can search and find resources which supplement your child’s learning like worksheets, activities and quizzes. Apart from that – Year 1 books – available on this site is provided for your reference and use. For example, use props and other things that interest them when discussing lessons or include them in your child's lessons to keep them engaged. Take advantage of these materials available to you to make home schooling manageable for you.
